Operational Training
OPS-SAT Space Lab offers operational training exercises suitable for a wide range of different skill levels.
Within a day groups that have had no previous experience can sit in a real operational setting and feel what it is like to act as a team, making critical decisions to successfully overcome the presented challenges. More experienced industrial partners can be exposed to real-life operational scenarios and tools, including commanding the engineering model and sometimes even a flying spacecraft.
Operational Simulations exercises are executed using the stand-alone Sim-Ops software suite where participants must solve operational problems while adhering to established voice communication protocols, spacecraft procedures and time constraints.

Operations Simulations
During the operations simulations exercises participants navigate pre-designed scenarios while adhering to established voice communication protocols, spacecraft procedures and time constraints. Immersing the participants in the heart of a genuine operational setting, where they are tasked with making critical decisions to successfully overcome the presented challenges. These exercises have been successfully integrated into ESA internal training courses and outreach activities.
